Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and payment information when you purchase tickets. We also collect information about your interactions with our platform, such as events you view, save, or attend.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: process ticket purchases and send confirmations; provide customer support; send you updates about events you're interested in; personalize your experience; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: event organizers (to process your ticket purchases); service providers (to facilitate payments and communications); and legal authorities (when required by law).

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; opt-out of marketing communications; and export your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pulsepassapp.io.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and personalize content. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may limit your use of certain features.

7. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as event organizer sites or payment processors). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Google Account & User Data

PulsePass offers "Sign in with Google" for faster account creation and login. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and the Google APIs Terms of Service. The specific details of how we access, use, share, store, and retain Google user data are described below.

Data Accessed

When you choose "Sign in with Google," Google shares the following basic profile fields with us: your full name, email address, and profile picture URL. These are the only Google user data types our application accesses, collects, or interacts with. We do not request, access, or collect any other Google data — including your contacts, calendars, Google Drive files, Gmail messages, location, or activity — and we do not request any additional Google API scopes.

Data Usage

We use your Google user data solely for the limited purpose of creating and authenticating your PulsePass account and providing our core ticketing and event-discovery service. Specifically, your name and email are used to: create and verify your account; enable you to sign in; pre-fill your PulsePass profile; identify and link your ticket purchases; deliver order confirmations, event reminders, and support-related messages; and provide customer support. Your profile picture, if provided, is displayed on your profile and alongside your activity within the app. We do not use your Google data to serve personalized advertisements, and we do not use your Google credentials to post, modify, manage, or read any content from your Google account.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your Google user data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We share your Google data only as necessary to operate the service or where required by law, specifically with the following categories of recipients: our cloud infrastructure and database hosting providers (to store and serve your account information); our transactional email provider (to deliver order confirmations and event communications you have opted into); payment processors such as Stripe and Base44 Payments (to complete your ticket purchases, where your email is used as a transaction reference); and legal authorities when compelled by valid legal process. Event organizers may receive your name and email solely to fulfill ticket purchases and manage entry to their events. Each recipient is bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and to use it only for the stated purpose.

Data Storage & Protection

Your Google user data is stored securely in our managed cloud database alongside the rest of your account record. Access to the database is restricted to authorized personnel and is protected by authentication, role-based access controls, and encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS). We apply the security measures described in the "Data Security" section of this policy to all Google user data. We minimize the data we hold, retaining only the fields described above (name, email, and profile picture URL) rather than any underlying Google credentials or tokens beyond what is required to maintain your authenticated session.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your Google user data for as long as your PulsePass account is active. When you delete your PulsePass account through the in-app account-deletion option, we permanently remove your Google user data (name, email, and profile picture) from our active database, along with your profile and personal account information, within 30 days. Some records may be retained in a de-identified or aggregated form for legitimate business purposes such as financial record-keeping, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, where required by law. You may revoke PulsePass's access to your Google account at any time by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, which prevents any future access to your Google data. To request deletion of your data earlier, or for any data-access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us at support@pulsepassapp.io and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

PulsePass is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
